We were given the annual opportunity to update the art in about 5-6 locations in the concourse around the FedExForum. This particular piece was a special one as it represented the time the NBA allowed teams to incorporate their logos on their jerseys. After many experiments watching on CCTV as a player wore different versions of the logo to see which showed up better on which jersey, we settled on this one for the home jersey. That day, we brought our studio to the practice court and photographed this image on the player. This signage was draped and revealed on ESPN and served as a benchmark for the Grizzlies.

FedEx Rebrand 2020.
While working with FedEx for over 20 years, we were never approached and asked about a rebrand. This being asked from such a spectacular company was an honor. We concepted for weeks and arrived at a simple approach that included their new tag line “What’s Next?”, proposed a new gradient treatment while all along keeping to a fast paced, pleasant aesthetic that appeals to a younger audience of business owners.
This video was used by FedEx Marketing to present to the owners and stakeholders as an incentive to rebrand and reach a larger market. You can see the purple-orange gradient being used nationally today.
FedEx Office Ads/Banners.
Working with FedEx since the early 1990's, I've had many opportunities to see them grow, from their original logo to a full suite of multiple OpCo's. In 2001, I was honored to be part of the team that prepared the collateral that Mr. Smith had us prepare as he announced that FedEx was building out those OpCo's. FedEx Kinko's, later to be developed into FedEx Office afforded many opportunities for print and online banner ads.

After many experimentations of watching players on CCTV don different versions of the logos/jerseys to determine which combination was the perfect compliment, this was settled on for the home jersey. The featured image was produced by means of the studio being brought to the practice court and photographing the player. This signage was draped and revealed on ESPN and served as a benchmark for the Grizzlies.

Another ADDY Gold resulted from spending the day inside of a simulation cockpit of a 777 and photographing these amusing figurines.
